Dental Waterline Sample Collection Technician (Part-Time)

What you'll do

• Collect water samples from dental unit waterlines across multiple operatories
• collect approximately 45 samples monthly at Fayetteville and 30 at Wilmington
• follow sterile sampling procedures
• complete field records
• package samples for laboratory shipment
• coordinate with VA dental clinic staff
• maintain sampling equipment and supplies
• follow infection prevention and safety requirements
• preserve sample integrity and chain-of-custody records
• conduct resampling and follow-up testing as required
• be available for requested retesting within 24 hours or the next business day.
