Home Care Caregiver, Short Shifts and Free Certification Training

Job overview

The Home Care Caregiver role is onsite in Dalton, MA, and surrounding Berkshire County communities, with flexible day, overnight, weekday, and weekend schedules and 8–12-hour shifts available. Pay is $18–$21 per hour. Guardian Angel Senior Services helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

What you'll do

• Depending on qualifications and client needs, provide companionship and emotional support
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• prepare meals and support daily routines
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands
• provide medication reminders
• observe and report changes in client conditions
• and deliver respectful, dependable care. Reliable transportation is required. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not always required
• HHA or CNA certification is welcome, and free caregiver training is available for qualified applicants.
