The Arborist Trainee Internship (2027) is onsite in Lombard, IL, with starting pay of $20–$23 per hour. What you'll do

• Work as a member of a tree crew while learning new skills
• learn tree identification and industry pruning guidelines
• prune, thin, and remove deadwood from tree canopies
• learn to install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems
• assist with hazardous tree removal
• and maintain, prepare, and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
