The Director of Annual Giving and Engagement is an onsite role based in Washington, DC, with a salary range of $115,000–$135,000 per year. This position supports The River School, an innovative organization dedicated to inclusive education for children with hearing loss and their hearing peers. This role exists to strengthen the school's annual giving program, deepen engagement with parents and alumni, and lead signature advancement events. By building meaningful relationships with donors and volunteers, the Director contributes to the organization's long-term philanthropic goals and campus development.

What you'll do

• Lead annual giving strategy, planning, and execution.
• Partner with the Director of Philanthropy on fundraising goals and donor engagement.
• Manage identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.
• Develop donor communications and impact reports.
• Lead signature advancement events and manage volunteer support.
• Maintain CRM data and prepare performance reports.
