What you'll do

• Operate echocardiography equipment and perform echocardiogram, limited echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram, and transesophageal echocardiogram exams
• assess image quality and send images to Synapse/PACS
• prepare preliminary reports for Cardiologist review
• document patient care in electronic medical records
• follow exam orders and workflow, including patient preparation and referral follow-up
• maintain and clean the TEE probe and related equipment
• may place an IV if certification requirements are met under facility policy.

Why this role

At least two years of experience is stated; BLS is required within 30 days of hire. Requires an appropriate echocardiography credential: RDCS, RCS, or Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer. IV placement is conditional on certification and facility policy.
