What you'll do

• Assess residents’ abilities and interests
• develop individualized activity programs and care plans
• complete MDS and RAPS documentation
• manage the activity budget
• arrange speakers, presenters, clergy, and off-site trips when available or appropriate
• develop community volunteer efforts
• supervise Resident Activity Assistants
• collaborate with rehabilitation, nutrition, social services, and the interdisciplinary team
• train staff
• evaluate program effectiveness and update activities as needed.
