What you'll do
- Provide direct nursing care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, dental and mouth care, and eye and ear care
- assist with toileting, incontinence care, mobility, and daily living activities
- monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- document care in flow sheets, notes, charts, and computer programs
- review care plans
- perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures
- attend training and orientation
- follow safety and sanitation protocols
- report hazards and defective equipment
- respect resident rights and treatment decisions.
