Water Technician

Job overview

The Water Technician role is onsite in Clayton, OH, and pays $19–$24 per hour. Boone Restoration is growing its emergency water mitigation team to help people recover after disaster scenarios. The technician carries out water mitigation projects from setup through completion, helping prevent further damage and ensuring structures are dry. Equipment monitoring, project documentation, customer communication, and organized jobsite practices support an efficient, professional restoration experience; the role also participates in an after-hours on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Assess flooded buildings and develop mitigation plans
• remove damaged materials and set up and monitor drying equipment
• ensure homes remain neat and clean during projects
• communicate with homeowners, coworkers, and supervisors
• maintain company vehicles and drying equipment
• document project conditions using company technology. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to work an average of 42–45 hours per week, ability to lift 50 pounds or more, basic computer skills, and willingness to work after hours on an on-call rotation.
