Lead Folder/Gluer Operator — Finishing Department

The Lead Folder/Gluer Operator role is onsite in Sheboygan, WI, on a Tuesday–Friday schedule from 8:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The role supports production of folding cartons at Sheboygan Paper Box Company. This hands-on lead operates and maintains finishing equipment while supporting daily production, safety, and quality goals. The role also coordinates workflow, coaches operators, and helps ensure finished work meets customer specifications and deadlines.

What you'll do

• Operate, set up, and maintain finishing equipment, including folder/gluer and window machines
• support the supervisor with production, safety, and quality goals
• review job jackets and factory tickets
• verify materials
• ensure SOPs, machine standards, and quality requirements
• communicate job expectations
• train and mentor operators and assistants
• maintain machine logs and coordinate repairs within training and OEM specifications
• approve first articles and support quality assurance
• fill in across department areas as needed
• operate powered industrial vehicles
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe department.
