Unit Specialist, Second Shift

The Unit Specialist, Second Shift role is onsite in Champaign, IL, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Starting pay is $18.43 per hour for high school/GED, $19.37 for an associate degree, or $20.25 for a bachelor’s degree; the second-shift differential is $0.25 per hour. Rosecrance provides behavioral health services focused on substance use and mental health recovery. The specialist supervises residential clients and supports their treatment and daily recovery in a safe, therapeutic setting. The role works with counselors and the treatment team to provide activities, education, behavioral support, and assistance with daily living.

What you'll do

• Supervise residents and provide behavioral interventions
• consult with counselors on treatment plans and schedule individual sessions
• facilitate therapeutic activities, education, and group discussions
• provide transportation when public transit is unavailable
• oversee daily household activities
• maintain client records and confidentiality
• monitor self-administration of medication if designated
• attend staff and treatment meetings.
