What you'll do

• Check the facility and courtroom
• inspect the cellblock and sally port
• provide security for judges, staff, and court users
• oversee security arrangements and evacuation plans
• check in people scheduled for court and direct them to courtrooms
• provide schedule information
• announce court, administer witness oaths, and enforce courtroom decorum
• take temporary custody of prisoners and coordinate transfers
• support jury security
• serve papers as directed.
