The Environmental Health, Safety & Security Specialist role is onsite in Dayton, NJ, with a salary range of $65,000–$80,000 annually. The schedule is Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to support first- or second-shift operations. System One provides outsourced services and workforce solutions; this role supports EHSS programs at a client facility. The specialist maintains regulatory compliance, promotes workplace safety, supports environmental and security initiatives, and partners with site leadership. The role combines inspections, training, incident investigation, environmental reporting, emergency preparedness, and access-control support to help maintain a safe and secure workplace.

What you'll do

• Support EHSS compliance programs
• maintain environmental programs including EPA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, permits, reporting, and inspections
• manage waste programs and metrics
• conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, job safety analyses, and audits
• coordinate and deliver safety training
• investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• manage safety equipment and emergency preparedness
• support access control, visitor management, CCTV monitoring, and C-TPAT compliance
• maintain policies, plans, and training records
• participate in audits and safety committees.
