The Early Childhood Education School Site Classroom Assistant role is onsite in Brookings, SD. The hourly pay range is $16–$18.25. The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains’ mission is to help young people realize their potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The assistant supports the teacher in creating a safe, caring classroom and implementing developmentally appropriate activities. The role supervises children, communicates with parents and staff about progress, and helps maintain classroom materials and smooth transitions between home and the childcare center.

• Assist with curriculum activities and encourage children’s participation

• follow Clubhouse policies and state regulations
