The Sheet Metal Fabricator — Machinist — Evening Shift is an onsite, full-time role in Tinley Park, IL. The expected starting pay range is $25–$31 per hour. The position joins Panduit’s R&D Tool Room team to produce sheet-metal prototypes using CNC technology. The fabricator programs, sets up, and operates a CNC press brake to create precise prototypes from designs. The role supports product development and quality through inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Program, set up, and operate a CNC press brake to produce sheet-metal prototypes
• fabricate complex designs to tight tolerances
• inspect work using precision measuring equipment and document results
• develop technical capabilities in CNC waterjet and laser/punch equipment as opportunities arise
• convert 3D CAD models into 2D flat patterns and create setup and inspection documentation as skills develop
• contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
