Child Care Teacher

The Child Care Teacher role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with a 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. shift. Pay is $15–$20 per hour. American Care Academy is an early childhood education development center focused on children’s learning, social development, and community involvement. The teacher provides age-appropriate learning and care, supports children’s safety and social development, and communicates with families about children’s progress. The role contributes to the center’s learning programs through classroom planning, supervision, and collaboration with other educators.

What you'll do

• Support children’s hygiene and change diapers as needed
• develop age-appropriate programs
• teach using varied educational techniques
• observe children’s social development and self-esteem
• guide peer interaction and conflict resolution
• support artistic and practical skills through curriculum activities
• organize naps and snacks and supervise safety
• track progress and report to parents
• communicate with parents
• collaborate with educators
• maintain a clean classroom and follow Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards.
