What you'll do

• Implement established orthotic and prosthetic treatment plans, acquire anthropometric data, modify or rectify physical data, and provide preparatory care.
• Fabricate, repair, and maintain orthoses and prostheses.
• Conduct structural evaluations, diagnostic fittings, and assess interventions.
• Perform gait and functional training, and document patient education and encounters.
• Assist in developing long-term treatment plans and ensure compliance with practice management plans.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Education and experience necessary to become certified as an Certified Prosthetic-Orthotic Assistant (CPOA) through the American Board of Certification (ABC)
