What you'll do

• Take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist physicians in diagnoses and treatment
• Perform procedures accurately and in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner
• Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment
• Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
• Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques
• Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues
• Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment and keep room stocked.

What we're looking for

Education

Valid ARRT certification

Experience

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school
