Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician works onsite in Nephi, UT, in the South Region Feed Division. Compensation is to be determined based on experience. Intermountain Farmers Association is a regional farm supply cooperative with feed production, agronomy services, and retail operations. The technician troubleshoots and repairs production machinery and electrical and electronic equipment, including programmable logic controllers. The role supports reliable feed production through preventive maintenance, equipment improvements, and timely repairs.

What you'll do

• Respond to manufacturing personnel calls to repair machinery and equipment
• install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment up to 480-volt three-phase power
• read electrical blueprints
• troubleshoot programmable logic controllers
• remove and install motors and related connections and belting
• repair conveyors, flaking equipment, elevators, and process equipment
• maintain records and preventive maintenance routines
• fabricate and weld
• improve machinery operation and maintenance.
