What you'll do

• Performs Nuclear Medicine exams in a timely manner, documents required information, and communicates pertinent information to physicians and staff.
• Coordinates and assists with patient care.
• Evaluates patient condition to adequately perform radiology exams.
• Explains procedures to patients.
• Provides comprehensive direct patient care and assures a safe environment.
• Consults with other staff as necessary.
• Assures necessary equipment and supplies are available and safely utilized.
• Performs Point of Care procedures and quality control.
• Associate Degree.
• Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or Certified in nuclear medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date).
