Maintenance Worker — Apartment Community

Job overview

The Maintenance Worker role is onsite in Catskill, NY. Pay is $18–$22 per hour. The position reports to the Environmental Services (EVS) Director at The Eliot at Catskill. The worker maintains buildings, grounds, and common areas, completes assigned work orders and routine maintenance, and helps keep the property safe and well maintained for residents.

What you'll do

• Assess and prioritize maintenance work
• maintain equipment and supply inventory
• complete routine maintenance schedules and work orders
• paint, clean, and perform unit renovation tasks
• maintain building interiors and exteriors, common areas, and grounds
• remove trash and snow
• report problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager
• handle emergency situations and communicate incident details.
