Job overview
The Welder, EDH PCR Base role is onsite at Powell’s Southeast Houston manufacturing facility, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and overtime as needed; compensation is not specified. What you'll do
- MIG weld mild and stainless steel
- perform basic fitting and layouts
- adjust welding machines
- grind and finish material
- read drawings and inspect dimensions
- perform spray-transfer MIG welding
- assess weld beads
- identify material types
- tack and stud weld
- torch cut and arc gouge
- follow operating procedures, safety rules, and ISO requirements.
