What you'll do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
• assess and treat communication, cognitive-linguistic, speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• and use evidence-based interventions to support functional independence. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, dietary services, and families
• educate residents and caregivers
• document care
• and participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings. Alabama licensure is required
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
