What you'll do

• Support the Deli Manager with departmental functions
• assist with interviewing, training, and team development
• maintain supplies
• understand product availability, preparation, storage, and nutrition
• ensure chefs and cooks follow current recipes
• manage inventory, pricing, signage, margin and labor targets
• oversee product sampling and special orders
• follow health, sanitation, weights-and-measures, and safe-work procedures
• operate and sanitize equipment
• provide consistent customer service.
