Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in Springfield, IL, with hours that vary by case. Compensation is $15–$20 per hour. Avid Health provides personalized in-home care services to clients and communities. The caregiver provides personal care and limited household support under a physician’s plan of treatment and the client’s plan of care, with scheduling supervision from the Client Care Coordinator and clinical supervision from a registered nurse or Clinical Manager. The role helps clients with daily activities while observing and reporting changes in their condition.

What you'll do

• Provide activities of daily living and personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, and ambulation assistance. Support therapy exercises under a registered therapist’s direction
• assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, appointments, and companionship as specified in the care plan. Remind clients about self-administration of medication but do not administer medications. Document services, follow safety and confidentiality requirements, and report changes or incidents promptly.
