CNC Machine Operator Trainee

The CNC Machine Operator Trainee role is onsite in Exeter, NH. Compensation is not specified. SIG SAUER manufactures firearms, electro-optics, ammunition, and related products and provides firearms instruction and tactical training. This supervised, probationary training role introduces candidates without prior CNC operating experience to machine operation and related processes. Trainees build foundational skills and are evaluated on attendance and proficiency as they learn safe, consistent practices.

What you'll do

• Learn machine-related controlled documentation, tool replacement and setting, cutting angles and tool geometry, tool identification and assembly, and alarm recognition and escalation
• develop blueprint-reading skills through training and shadowing
• learn safe machine loading and unloading under direct supervision
• learn to use precision measuring equipment
• complete training assignments
• participate in group exercises
• sustain 5S standards
• follow safety and ISO procedures.
