This role supports the Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plant, which produces iconic cereal brands. The role exists to maintain, repair, and install industrial electrical equipment and systems. It contributes to the plant's operational success by ensuring electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• HMI / PLC communication, Servo motor maintenance, Basic programming and editing, Replace motors and cables, Troubleshooting electrical problems, Maintain and repair electrical and heavy industrial mechanical equipment, Interpret drawings and electrical code specifications, Replace equipment on existing electrical systems, Understand electrical wiring diagrams and schematics, Perform industrial electrical maintenance, Locate and repair trouble in wiring or electrical equipment, Install electrical components and systems, Identifying basic electrical symbols, Isolating basic electrical control circuits, Shooting electrical systems and wiring, Maintain all electrical and electronic equipment, Performing routine preventative maintenance, Install various assemblies that require electrical wiring, Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment, Calibrate and repair electrical-pneumatic control systems, Maintain, install, and repair plant equipment electrical systems.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

Journeyman Electrical Apprenticeship or > 8000 hours documented in the Electrical field
