Business Analyst, Prior Authorizations

The analyst supports the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services’ Medicaid Management Information System team and MassHealth program.

What you'll do

• Participate in stakeholder design sessions
• document requirements
• develop test strategies, scenarios, and cases
• execute and review test runs
• support end-user training materials
• potentially oversee release stabilization
• work with vendors to define and test requirements
• communicate updates to stakeholders
• represent MMIS in business meetings
• support program staff and vendors
• provide backup to other analysts
• and perform data queries and analysis. Prior authorization expertise is sought
• Medicaid systems, claims, HIPAA transactions, and SQL are preferred.
