Affiliate Video and Technology Assistant

The Affiliate Video and Technology Assistant is an onsite, full-time role in Tampa, FL; compensation is not specified. The position supports the New York Yankees Player Development department and its assigned affiliate. The role manages video and data collection, technology workflows, and travel and administrative logistics so the affiliate’s daily operations and baseball analysis are supported. It also works with coaches and analysts on advance scouting materials and assists other scouting departments as needed.

What you'll do

• Chart games and manage video and data collection
• assist with Major League and Minor League collection during Spring Training
• coordinate break-camp travel and affiliate itineraries
• manage travel and administrative logistics
• troubleshoot technology with Video Coordinators and Baseball Systems staff
• collaborate on advance scouting reports
• capture and upload game and non-game video and data
• oversee high-speed video and TrackMan, Hawk-Eye, and KinaTrax workflows
• and assist scouting departments with miscellaneous needs.

Why this role

Previous BATS game-charting, professional baseball clubhouse, and baseball technology experience are preferred. Requires availability for long hours, including holidays and weekends, and ability to carry equipment and set up stadium cameras.
