Shipping Coordinator — 3rd Shift

The Shipping Coordinator role is onsite in Smyrna, TN, Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Starting pay is $18.75–$20.75 per hour. The coordinator helps Steel Technologies prepare finished material for shipment and meet customer expectations. The role ensures shipment paperwork, routing, loading, and carrier coordination are accurate and timely. Careful tracking of material and orders helps deliver finished products to the right customers at the right time.

What you'll do

• Prepare bills of lading in the AS 400 shipping system
• attach required certifications, samples, and order materials
• coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with carriers
• verify truck loads against bills and loading instructions
• review order sequences for possible loads and late orders
• ensure complete shipments and accurate documentation
• account for material and paperwork flow
• control carrier flow
• report non-compliance issues to a supervisor or shift lead.
