The dispatcher coordinates bus routes and scheduling, supports on-time performance, and communicates with drivers, monitors, and contracted customers. The role helps address route issues and supports day-to-day terminal operations and customer service.

What you'll do

• Oversee bus routes and scheduling
• counsel and coach drivers and monitors
• handle phone and radio traffic
• receive scheduling and driver complaints and report them to the Operations Supervisor or Contract Manager
• serve as the primary communication liaison with the major contracted customer
• provide solutions to pickup and drop-off problems
• assist with day-to-day operations and special projects
• may handle charter reservations, billing, driver payroll, backup driving, or clerical duties.
