Treatment Foster Care Case Manager

Job overview

The Treatment Foster Care Case Manager role is onsite in Lynchburg, VA; compensation is $23.25–$26.50 per hour, plus a stipend for the after-hours emergency rotation. The position supports HumanKind’s Foster Care team and its work toward positive outcomes for children in foster care. The case manager assesses children’s needs, coordinates services and meetings, and supports foster families. Documentation, home and field visits, and collaboration with families and agencies help ensure each child’s identified needs are addressed.

What you'll do

• Maintain case documentation and reports
• assess foster children’s needs and implement objectives and services
• conduct home and field visits
• attend or coordinate meetings for children and foster families
• supervise visitations
• arrange transportation and service referrals
• participate in required training and audits
• support and train foster families
• respond to on-call emergencies.
