Generator Service Technician

Job overview

The Generator Service Technician role is onsite in Butler, PA, with pay of $16–$18 per hour. The position is with an independent Generac channel partner, not Generac Power Systems, Inc. The partner installs home generators and supports customers’ energy management needs. The technician performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting on generators at homes and commercial buildings. The work helps customers maintain generator readiness and reliable operation.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance, including changing oil, filters, spark plugs, and batteries
• conduct planned onsite maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting on customer generators
