The Medical Supplies Sorting Associate role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN; remote work is not available. Compensation is $20 per hour. MATTER is a nonprofit social enterprise that prepares donated medical supplies for global projects and resale to fund its operations. The associate sorts, classifies, and verifies donated supplies for inventory, projects, customer orders, and shipments. Accurate handling helps direct usable materials to communities and supports MATTER’s mission and operations.

What you'll do

• Sort and classify donated medical supplies by type, use, condition, packaging, expiration information, and established criteria
• pick and verify items for projects, orders, and shipments
• maintain organized inventory
• identify misplaced, damaged, or unsuitable items
• load and unload materials
• maintain a clean and safe sorting area
• complete assigned training.
