What you'll do

• Use equipment, supplies, and warning signs to maintain a clean and safe environment
• respond appropriately to emergency codes and hazardous-material spills
• operate laundry equipment
• complete routine cleaning and discharge assignments
• perform wet and dry mopping and terminal cleaning as assigned
• clean patient rooms, toilets, offices, windows, doors, and support areas
• wash and sort linen
• maintain washer chemical supplies
• follow infection-control practices, hospital policies, and attendance expectations
• protect patient confidentiality.
