Referral Coordinator

What you'll do

• Complete, verify, and submit records, forms, and insurance pre-authorizations
• follow healthcare laws and HIPAA privacy rules
• answer patient questions, schedule appointments, and provide instructions
• update provider lists and referral data in eCW and the EMR
• send medical data to outside clinics and route calls
• monitor appointments and returned records
• contact patients who miss appointments and document reasons
• perform other assigned duties and travel if required.
