The Portion Control Machine Technician — 3rd Shift role is onsite in Van Buren, AR. Compensation is $20.50 per hour. Pepper Source manufactures custom sauces, seasonings, and dry coating systems for food industry customers. The technician operates, monitors, and maintains packaging machinery to support safe, efficient production. Troubleshooting, changeovers, and coordination with production staff help reduce downtime and keep equipment operating to specifications.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor food processing and packaging machinery.
• Set up and adjust equipment for production runs.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols and food safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging machinery issues before and during production.
• Maintain maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment startup and shutdown and perform changeovers as needed.
• Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Why this role

Third shift hours are Sunday 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. and Monday–Friday 10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Requires a high school diploma or GED and mechanical experience or understanding of mechanical functions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
