What you'll do

• Prepare traffic control, signing, pavement marking, signal, lighting, and intelligent transportation plans and specifications
• gather and analyze data for special studies
• check traffic signals, lighting, and intelligent transportation systems
• evaluate roadways for safety and compliance with WVDOH standards
• assist construction inspectors
• prepare and archive as-built plans
• develop signal timing parameters
• review plans
• conduct field reviews and support traffic control implementation.
