The Senior PIC maintains worksite control for high-risk or complex activities, coordinating personnel, work scope, schedules, documentation, and safety controls so work stays within approved procedures and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Receive assignments and confirm work priorities with the facility manager
• coordinate shift turnover with the Shift Manager
• ensure qualified personnel complete technical work documents
• conduct pre-planning meetings and pre-job briefings
• present schedules at facility meetings
• maintain a controlling presence at the worksite until work is complete or responsibility is transferred
• ensure work follows approved scope, safety, procedures, schedules, and housekeeping requirements
• conduct turnover with an alternate PIC when needed
• may provide training and support to lower-level PICs
• stop work when conditions are unsafe.
