Senior Research Associate — Antibody Discovery

The Senior Research Associate role is onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, in the Longwood Medical Area. Pay is $80,000–$95,000 per year. The Institute for Protein Innovation is a nonprofit research organization advancing protein science to accelerate research and improve human health. The associate advances the antibody discovery pipeline through laboratory research, method development, data analysis, reporting, and coordination across teams. The work supports the Institute’s research and development of synthetic antibodies and other protein tools for the biomedical community.

What you'll do

• Conduct high-throughput antibody discovery using display technologies
• operate flow cytometers and laboratory automation equipment
• perform next-generation sequencing, DNA preparation, PCR, and cloning
• support team projects and experiments
• coordinate scheduling, product delivery, and data sharing across antibody platform teams
• maintain electronic laboratory notebook records
• present data at weekly group meetings
• troubleshoot routine technical problems.
