The Hospital Psychiatric Clinician role is an in-person position in Dallas, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule of either 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Compensation is $24.61–$26.44 per hour. IPS Health Systems provides outpatient mental health and substance misuse services and aims to reduce adult offender recidivism through clinical and educational services. The clinician provides therapeutic and psychiatric support, completes assessments and treatment planning, and coordinates with the Forensic Assertive Community Treatment team and other professionals to support clients’ care and community linkage.

What you'll do

• Provide therapeutic interventions, psychosocial rehabilitation, skill building, community-resource linkage, rapport building, and relapse-prevention planning
• complete admission assessments and level-of-care determinations
• use DSM-5 criteria for diagnoses and treatment plans
• complete ANSA assessments and documentation
• provide clinical guidance to the FACT secondary team lead
• collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and transport clients to and from appointments.
