IT Field Engineer I

What you'll do

• Set up computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• train and educate clients on technical standards
• troubleshoot onsite application, network, wireless, remote-access, operating-system, and printer issues
• identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets
• recommend supported hardware and software improvements
• coordinate with remote technicians, vendors, third parties, and client subject matter experts
• maintain accurate timesheets and troubleshooting notes
• update documentation
• answer service desk calls and chats when not at a client site
• participate in the on-call rotation, one week every 3–4 months.
