What you'll do

• Create and process purchase orders
• obtain and evaluate vendor quotes
• confirm orders and track deliveries
• resolve backorders and shortages
• monitor open orders and expedite critical materials
• track inventory and supplier lead times
• maintain purchasing records
• assist with invoice, receiving, quantity, pricing, and delivery discrepancies
• research alternative products and suppliers
• prepare purchasing and supplier reports
• escalate material and delivery risks.
