Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Little Rock, AR, with flexible full-time and part-time hours. Compensation is not specified. Reporting to a House Manager or Program Coordinator, the DSP provides person-centered support in individuals’ homes. The role assists with daily care, health and safety monitoring, transportation, meals, medication support, documentation, and maintaining a clean home environment in accordance with individual plans and company procedures.

What you'll do

• Provide care in individuals’ homes and monitor health and safety
• assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and other personal care
• provide transportation
• prepare meals or assist with dietary plans
• maintain home cleanliness
• administer or assist with medications as needed
• monitor health concerns and support medical appointments
• document records and communicate concerns
• follow individual plans and company procedures.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities or behavioral support needs, age 18 or older, high school diploma or GED, current CPR and first aid certifications, and a valid driver’s license or state ID with liability insurance. CNA license is preferred, not required.
