The Child Interventionist / Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with part-time hours Monday–Friday, 3–7 p.m. Compensation is $21–$28 per hour. Butterfly Effects provides applied behavior analysis services to children and families affected by autism. The technician implements individualized treatment plans under a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, records client progress, and supports children in developing academic and life skills. The role contributes to consistent, family-centered therapy through communication with parents and the treatment team, accurate documentation, and ongoing training.

What you'll do

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA direction
  • observe, record, and report client progress and behavior
  • manage challenging behaviors
  • apply behavioral principles consistently
  • assist clients with academic and life skills
  • communicate with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients
  • complete daily paperwork and data collection
  • participate in training
  • maintain client confidentiality and follow company policies.
