Proposal Development Specialist

Job overview

The Proposal Development Specialist role is onsite in Petersburg, VA; compensation is $25–$35 per hour, with guaranteed hours including overtime. Elite Contracting Group’s Estimating and Design team prepares customer proposals for project work. The specialist turns project and estimating information into accurate, complete, customer-ready proposals. The role coordinates with estimators, solution engineers, and vendors to resolve requirements and deliver proposals on schedule.

What you'll do

• Receive project scope, quantities, equipment requirements, and estimating information
• coordinate vendor pricing, availability, lead times, and product details
• research project requirements
• enter materials, quantities, costs, and labor data into templates and systems
• prepare and review proposals
• clarify scope and specifications with estimators and solution engineers
• track progress
• maintain organized files
• manage multiple proposals and deadlines.
