What you'll do
- Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs at admission, including nursing assessment, CIWA/COWS, and vital signs
- document assessments and medical orders in the electronic medical record
- coordinate treatment plans with the Medical Director
- monitor patient status through scheduled rounds
- provide nursing care within applicable standards
- administer and document medications
- notify physicians of significant changes or emergencies
- educate patients and families
- maintain records, confidentiality, and therapeutic professional boundaries.
