What you'll do
- Interpret, verify, and transcribe medication orders
- compound and dispense pharmaceuticals
- monitor medication regimens for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and dosing appropriateness
- evaluate non-formulary requests and therapeutic interchanges
- provide clinical consultations and medication education
- document interventions and adverse drug reactions
- provide operational oversight and clinical support to pharmacy technicians and team members.
