The technician is an integral member of Hickory House Recovery’s treatment team. Under the Behavior Health Manager’s immediate supervision, the technician monitors, observes, and reports client activities while supporting implementation of person-centered treatment plans. The role includes engaging clients, facilitating recovery and relapse education groups, documenting interactions, supporting medication dispensing as directed, and helping clients attend treatment sessions and approved outside meetings.

What you'll do

• Maintain HIPAA compliance in client communications
• engage with clients and support implementation of treatment plans
• facilitate educational groups for recovery and relapse
• dispense client medication according to regulations and the physician-directed electronic medical record schedule, with documentation
• document client engagements in the facility EMR
• ensure clients attend individual and group treatment sessions and approved outside meetings
• maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• attend staff meetings and training as directed
• maintain cleanliness and functional order of the facility
• inspect property and document needed repairs as directed
• follow the Behavioral Health Procedural Manual.
