Assistant Kitchen Manager

What you'll do

• Assist the Executive Chef with daily back-of-house operations
• guide prep cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers during lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch
• inspect portions, flavor, and presentation
• onboard and coach staff
• assist with scheduling, food ordering, stock rotation, inventory, and waste reduction
• enforce health, sanitation, and equipment-maintenance standards
• work cooking stations during peak periods as needed.
