Front Desk Manager — Hotel

The Front Desk Manager role is onsite in Bakersfield, CA, with pay of $25–$27 per hour depending on experience. The Padre Hotel is a historic downtown destination offering accommodations, dining, and special events. The manager leads daily front desk operations and develops the team to deliver efficient service and a welcoming guest experience. The role also resolves guest concerns, coordinates with hotel departments, and supports operational and financial goals through consistent procedures and accurate records.

What you'll do

• Lead, supervise, and support front desk employees
• recruit, hire, train, coach, schedule, review, and address performance matters
• maintain operating standards and procedures
• assist with check-in, check-out, reservations, and front desk functions
• resolve guest questions and complaints
• coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments
• oversee room status reports, cashier reports, bank reconciliation, deposits, and key control
• support guest recognition and service initiatives
• conduct department meetings and team lineups
• maintain training records and staff knowledge of hotel services.
